Getting the Details Right

There’s always little things that we all screw up from time to time. You left the house without your keys, maybe forgot to set your alarm clock last night, or left the garage door open all night long. We’re human, stuff happens!

Take a second to think about what you’re forgetting when it comes to your health. Mark talked about sleep yesterday…are you getting enough, and getting high quality sleep? What about your hydration? Even though it’s still winter-ish, your water intake can still have a huge impact on your recovery and mobility. Dry muscles = tight muscles.

How’s that whole diet thing going? Be honest here…if losing weight is a serious goal of yours, then you have to make it a priority in your life- that means preparing your meals, shopping smart, and finding alternatives to cravings.

Still taking your fish oil each day? This is super important if you are concerned for your joints or heart. Don’t believe me, believe this guy.

No one’s perfect- but the more you can control the little things, the better your results will be. Challenge yourself- drink an extra glass of water with breakfast and dinner, and see how you feel. Skip the chips, snack on some almonds, and take note of your energy levels. Just working out isn’t enough!
