Ask a runner why they run and you’ll probably hear about the “runner’s high” or how relaxing it is in this stressful world (I never believe that one, I can never relax on a run regardless of it being 1 mile or 10 miles). Ask a gym rat why they lift and you’ll hear everything from lookin’ good for the ladies to trying to tone up and lose the baby weight.

They are all perfectly fine reasons to do what you do but you don’t just workout, you joined a CrossFit gym, you weightlift!  You clean and snatch and back squat. You are an athlete! You sprint and do pull ups and push ups and hollow rock and get upside down on the wall and on the rings. You are [a bit] crazy! You flip tires, jump over boxes, carry barbells overhead, and lunge everywhere!

So why do you do it?

Why do you CrossFit?
