I loved reading this article. Who doesn’t love bacon! You probably shouldn’t eat a pound at a time or anything, but it should definitely be enjoyed. In our house, we cook about three pounds at a time and put it in the freezer. It’s easy to pull out and pop it in the microwave! The kids love it!

Now, I’m not a doctor or a nutritionist or anything, but I feel pretty confident that bacon is probably not what has kept Pearl (from the link above) a vibrant 105-year old women. I’m sure there’s a lot more to it (exercise, positive attitude, good genes, etc.) Unfortunately, the article above doesn’t go into any detail as to WHY bacon is not bad for us like many think (in my non-doctor opinion). There are more than enough articles that will tell you what this doctor or that doctor thinks. Or just what any random person thinks about bacon and health in general. I read one article that was great and made me laugh. And the video in the story is downright hilarious! No matter your opinion on bacon, I suggest that article. You WILL smile. 🙂
