Beginning anything new is intimidating. That feeling is hard to overcome and can prevent us from being the ‘best we can be’ (sorry for the cliche, but it fits). This goes for anything…beginning college, a new job, marriage/divorce, CrossFit (even if it’s just trying for a new PR), etc. Opening new doors is always a good thing. If opening that door isn’t what you thought it would be, you still learned something – learning is never bad. Here’s an incredible story about Arthur, a Gulf War veteran who was told he’d never walk again without assistance. It’s amazing what the body can do when the mind is on board!
